When you study in New Zealand, you’ll discover a unique country – the ultimate outdoor playground with excellent study opportunities. It’s a safe and welcoming community with a world-class reputation for cutting-edge research and creative energy.

New Zealand universities offer academic degrees that are recognised and respected around the world. New Zealand Colleges, or polytechnics, provide great vocational or English-language education.

The cost of living and tuition is relatively low, and there are many great social and cultural experiences to choose from while you study in New Zealand. For most international students, the chance to explore the natural beauty of the islands, mountains and glaciers is a highlight of their New Zealand study experience.

Reasons to be in New Zealand

All New Zealand universities provide an internationally recognised education, with strict quality controls over teaching at New Zealand colleges. New Zealand courses are usually located in one of the multicultural cities – New Zealanders travel overseas a lot and are welcoming of other cultures.

Students come from all over the world to study in New Zealand not only for its safe learning environment and quality education, but also to take in its fabulous natural scenery, rich variety of cultural activities and friendly people.

Perhaps because it is so far away from the rest of the world, New Zealand universities and researchers have a good reputation for independent thinking – and for a small country has become a big player in areas as diverse as filmmaking and biotechnology.
